Below are step by step instructions on
how to setup dial-up networking in Microsoft Windows XP in order to access
the Internet with OleMac.net using your modem.
Step 1
Click on the "Start" button and select the "Control Panel".
Step 2
Click on "Network and Internet Connections".
Step 3
Fill in your location information then click the "Ok" button.
Step 4
Click the "Ok" button again.
Step 5
In the New Connection Wizard, select the "Create a Dial-up connection"
option then click the "Next" button.
Step 6
Type OleMac.net as the company name then click the "Next" button.
Step 7
The dialup number is 845-7111 for
Anderson or 223-4293 for Pineville.
Type the appropriate phone number to dial then click the "Next" button.
Step 8
Click the "Finish" button and you have successfully created the dial-up
connection for OleMac.net.
Step 9
Click the "Start button", then select "Connect To" and click "OleMac.net".
Step 10
Enter your OleMac.net username and password then click the "Dial" button
and your machine should connect to OleMac.net. You are now ready to surf.
