- Am I responsible for replacing the
Multimedia equipment you have provided me if it takes a surge?
- It is the subscriber's responsibility to protect all of the equipment
placed in your home and owned by McDonald County Multi-Media, LLC
from any and all types of damage. This includes any damage due to customer
negligence or any other cause such as lightning, pets, etc. You will
be charged for the replacement of equipment unless you choose to participate
in the Video
Protection Plan.
In the case of lightning, surge protectors do prevent some lightning damage.
The most effective way to ensure that your equipment is not damaged
by lightning is to unplug the power supply from the outlet and unplug the
telephone line. The presence of a surge protector will not exempt you
from being charged for equipment damaged by lighning if you choose not to
participate in our plan.
In order to protect our customers from costly equipment replacement costs,
service call charges and labor charges; we are offering our customers a
Video Protection Plan for a monthly fee of $2.00 per month. Click here
to download and print the Video
Protection Plan options.

will take place during the middle of the night and very early morning hours
and
should not require any action on your part. Please to our website www.olemac.net
